Hello folks, I would like to explore the possibility of localizing Nokia N800 user interface to languages that are not currently localized by Nokia itself[1]. It seems technically possible to localize the different components to other languages since all the infrastructure is based on intltool and seems very well internationalized. Is there any way to translate the UI into a language not supported directly by Nokia? If not, I would be possible from the community to localize the different individual PO files, build a deb pack for this language and deploy it? This is obviously from a localization point of view without exploring internationalization issues. I think that it would be cool to have a repository of community supported translations that can be installed using a single package that localizes the main components.
