Yes, but this is independent from whether we use logical ids or not. The practise of using logical ids has made it possible to screw up in this area like we did (because the software is not required to work in its untranslated form), and getting rid of logical ids would mean that we pretty much must get the formatting codes right in the untranslated strings (because now the software can actually be used untranslated), but we don't need to get rid of logical ids if we want to fix this. You can simply tell you UI speccer to put the formatting codes into the logical ids. It would be good if they would do that on their own, and I am sure we just need to make them aware and they will do it by default.
