Hello,
I am new to both gstreamer and maemo. Hence the ignorance : sorry if these
are very trivial questions.

I am not able to play video files (mpeg4/avi etc.) on the Nokia 770 using
gstreamer. I have converted the video files to the Nokia format using a media
converter software. I am able to play the video with the default video player
on the 770 but when I try this through gstreamer, I cannot see any video.

I either get the message "pipeline is prerolled" and nothing after this or
"pipeline is prerolling" and then no video (I am invoking the
commands/program through xterm).

I also tried playbin with dspmpeg4sink - but I have the same problem.

I have no problem with audio though - am able to play mp3/wav etc.

I have tried both gst-launch and some example code - both give me similar
results.

Can someone please tell me the list of filters that I should use to play an
avi file on the 770?

regards,
Sharmila
