hello Mathias,
Yes i opened the Xephyr application on one
terminal.Ifirst ran xephyr and it diplayed a GUI window with nothing
on the
screen.then i launched maemo on other terminal..the following are the
messages.
angra:/ # ./start-xephyr.sh &
[1] 6268
angra:/ # Could not init font path element /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc, removing
from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi, removing from
list!
Could not init font path element /usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi, removing from
list!

==========i ran the above command on terminal 2 and it opned a xephyr
window.

After this i ran the command for meamo launcher on terminal 1. the commands
are as shown below.

[sbox-SDK_PC: ~] > export DISPLAY=:2
[sbox-SDK_PC: ~] > af-sb-init.sh start
Note: For remote X connections DISPLAY should contain hostname!
Sample files present.
DBUS system bus is already running, doing nothing
Starting D-BUS session bus daemon
Starting Maemo Launcher: maemo-launcher start failed.
Starting Sapwood image server
sapwood-server[6363]: GLIB INFO default - server started
Starting Matchbox window manager
Starting clipboard-manager
Starting Keyboard
Starting MAEMO AF Desktop
/usr/bin/af-sb-init.sh: line 53: 6402 Segmentation fault (core dumped)
$CMD $PARAMS

so this was the problem. I doubt if there is any problem with the
installation.

Thanks & Regards
Anand.
