Hi again :) Latest osso-statusbar-cpu has some code in it to average cpu usage and notify you (it won't log, just play a sound and display a notification) if something's hogging the cpu (aka draining the battery) Here: http://www.maemo-hackers.org/browser/osso-statusbar-cpu/trunk It's not included in a release (yet) though. (also posting to the list this time, sorry wrong email) On 9/7/07, Tony Maro <tonymaro at gmail.com> wrote: > Last night I charged my n800, then did a little web browsing. > > As always, I went into offline mode, then locked the screen and placed it > beside the bed. > > When I woke up, the battery was stone cold dead. > > I wish there were a way to know what might have been running that killed > the battery... > > I wonder how hard it would be to write an application that watches processes > for high usage and logs every 5 minutes if something is hogging the CPU. > Maybe have it live as an icon by the battery meter or something... > > -- > Tony Maro > http://www.maro.net/ossramblings.php > _______________________________________________ > maemo-developers mailing list > maemo-developers at maemo.org > https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers > > -- Kemal
