Hi,

I have some progress:

I compiled alsa-oss (oos emulation for alsa) on maemo and tried to start
gtick with

Nokia-N800-26:/home/user# ./aoss ./gtick 
dsp_protocol_open_node(): Could not open pcm device
file /dev/dsptask/pcm3


As you see, it is the actual firmware on N800.

The device is present in /dev.


Do you have any idea, what might be the problem. I did not find any
simelar problem.
