[maemo-developers] Problems running xephyr on SUSE 10.2

Sounds like you need to have this file available. I'll attach the copy
that I found on my system, but presumably some SuSE package has this
file in it. I don't know how to do searches to find what package to
install on SuSE, though.

I think this is the major problem. You need the 'fixed' font which is
usually one of the default fonts installed. 

What's probably happening is that Xephyr isn't finding the basic font
folders. I'm not sure why, but I have heard of this happening in
general. In fact, when I searched for "could not open default font
'fixed'" I found a lot of pages that give a number of possible fixes. 

I'm not reproducing the problem here (I don't have any version of SuSE),
but you could try some of the fixes described.
