Yes you are right, it does. That's the problem he's having, described
(with a patch) here- https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3026
I don't know whether this is a software issue that affects all n810s
or a flaw in the silicon itself. Either way, resetting the driver on
state change does resolve it.

The patch I provided was quick and dirty, but worked for me (and for
the original poster to whom I emailed a patched zImage.)
