The developers of ruby-gtk2, on which ruby-maemo is built, are planning a new release soon. This is great news, because they say they have fixed the mainloop polling that causes the CPU to wakeup around 100 times a second, killing the battery. However, the developer (Tom Swindell) of ruby-maemo (the Hildon bindings) seems to have disappeared and I don't have the ruby-maemo source code. Do you? Is anyone planning to maintain it? Should we break ruby-maemo into ruby-hildon and ruby-gtk2? Is anyone else actually using ruby-maemo? Any discussions on this stuff would be welcome. It would even be nice just to find out who else uses ruby-maemo! Mark -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
