[maemo-developers] Problems copying debian package to device with USB

If by unmount I do that by clicking the button on the Vmware toolbar at
top, I have done that and it still has problems.  Other than that, how
else could I unmount the drive to ensure that the drive has time to
flush the files?  I am unfamiliar with Linux and trying to learn and
could use a little more information.  Thanks.

The common case is that you need to unmount the usb storage to have the
data flushed to the device.
If it's not the case, could you tell the path to the device's
destination folder of your copied file?
