[maemo-developers] Video Encoding (most probably revisited many times)

If you have perl installed, you can try tablet-encode (
http://mediautils.garage.maemo.org/tablet-encode.html). It is a front-end to
mencoder, which provides sensible defaults and presets. It works well for me
under Linux.
