Hmm, what actually annoys me about this is that you have to wait until
the device is almost fully booted (until the charging animation starts
animating) before you can use the power key to get to the desktop.

That is, I have to wait for the device before I can tell it that I want
it to be on.

It's only a small annoyance, of course.
