Greetings all, I am pleased to announce the first protoype for running the Oracle Cluster Filesystem using Linux/iSCSI over Wifi on Maemo OS 2008 devices using v2.6.21: http://linux-iscsi.org/index.php/OCFS2/iSCSI_for_OS-2008 The builds are available from: http://linux-iscsi.org/builds/maemo/OS2008/ There are still limitiations wrt Distributed Lock Manager (DLM) wire protocol version changes, as the prototype setup currently must use N800 and i386 Ubuntu VMs both running 2.6.21 that speak v7 of the protocol DLM access with OCFS2 v1.3.3. I believe v8 of this protocol for OCFS2 v1.5.0 is the latest in v2.6.25 mainline, which is something that the project will have to wait for from Nokia, or the latest stable OCFS2 gets backported for v2.6.21 :-). Also, I will be running this same setup on 2.6.24 in the upcoming weeks on new OpenMoko hardware, so stay tuned. I will be adding a small HOWTO for getting setup, but if you have experience with OCFS2 elsewhere, getting setup with the current .deb packages is straightforward. If anyone needs some pointers for getting setup on the Target side until then, have a look at: http://linux-iscsi.org/index.php/LIO-Target http://linux-iscsi.org/index.php/LIO-VM http://linux-iscsi.org/index.php/Main_Page#Mailing_List --nab
