There isn't that much of documentation available. The kernel driver
consists of open cx3110x.ko and closed umac.ko modules.

You have to give more information so that we can help you. But first I
recommend you to file a bug:

https://bugs.maemo.org/

Add me to CC and we can start from that.

Also here's a short list of what kind information is needed:

    *  What AP you have?
          o Make and model?
          o Firmware version?
          o Hardware revision?
          o What are the encryption settings? (open/WEP/WPA-PSK/WPA-EAP) 
    * What's the distance to the AP?
    * How many APs do you have? 

Also please be very specific what you are doing (which buttons you
press etc) and what happens on the screen.
