[maemo-developers] Python Sound

Im trying to use python to read from the N810 sound card for some speech
processing activity.
Tried to use pygst but it doesnt seem to provide access to the buffer for me
to read samples.

has anyone gotten pyalsaaudio working on the N810?
Ive used ossaudiodev in linux to do the task but its not in the pymaemo thts
available in N810..

any idea on this is appreciated.
