[maemo-developers] Need information about GStreamer elements

Just to clear more, I only have stream of raw data to play. 

I am ignorant about its type or anything. I know I have to use some low
level element as source element. 

I was unable to find such source element which takes only raw data as a
source. 

Any pointer in this regard would be appreciated.

Hi all, 

            I have been trying to play audio file inside maemo. 

I was able to play it using playbin and setting its URI property with
'file:///xxx'.

But the thing is, in my application I get the stream of type say iostream
from internet. 

Now how could I use available GstElements to play this stream. 

Playbin only allows me to use file or http protocol to specify source.
