We are python based and back in the days there was no QT for Windows under the GPL let a lone Meamo, So we went for wxpython. This was back then the only option to run on Windows XP/GNU Linux/MacOSX. This has been successful for years now. Them Maemo came along. There is an early port of wxpython/wxwidgets to Maemo but it is not a drop in replacement. We do not consider rewriting in python/QT but for a new project that might be the way to go. Depending on your code it might however be of value to consider totally different GUI for full boxes and tablet-like hardware. -- Sebastian Hilbert Leipzig / Germany [www.gnumed.de] -> PGP welcome, HTML ->/dev/null
