So JS is taking 60%... Does that happen only when Browser is visible,
or also when you've opened some other application on top of Browser?

If you have ssh connection to your device, does the CPU usage keep
up also when the screen blanks?

For CPU usage, yes.  For background CPU usage, there probably should
be some additional measures taken, and for the case when screen
blanks.

(I think some things like Gmail break if JS wakeups would be
completely disabled when Browser is backgrounded or screen is blanked.
JS on the www-sites is not written to be battery usage friendly.)
