Hi, Alsa on N800 is configured to use DSP-chip, which doesn't exist on your pc (and inside scratchbox). However, it should be enough to change your alsa configuration to use your host system's sound hw instead (application doesn't need to know if the sound is routed through dsp or not). Take a look to: /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf Inside maemo+scratchbox this talks about "alsa_dsp", which you need to change. Also have a look to your host system's config.
