In this particular case the goal of the project shouldn't be just to integrate maemo patch into evince mainstream. The primary goal from my point of view is to port the application to maemo and let people use it. garage project would serve this goal, but having patches in gnome bugzilla wouldn't. Look at the existing maemo applications - they're in much better shape than evince just because they have their own svn, bug tracker and other places for developers and users to communicate. > > >From my point of view having project on garage is a bit more than just > > that. Anyway some of them will never be integrated into mainstream.
