I run ./configure --without-libgnome, but it still gave the following dependency: checking for SHELL_CORE... configure: error: Package requirements (libxml-2.0 >= 2.5.0 gtk+-2.0 >= 2.10.0 gnome-icon-theme >= 2.17.1 gnome-vfs-2.0 libglade-2.0 gconf-2.0 gnome-keyring-1 >= 0.4.0) were not met: No package 'gnome-icon-theme' found What shall I do with the 'gnome-icon-theme' then ? Do you know what was the > problem? The problem is explained by Eduardo - you don't need to use libgnome, because device doesn't have gnome support. Just put --without-gnome to configure arguments as he suggested. BTW, I run my evance build on the device yesterday and it works surprisingly good for the first build. I tried it with djvu, cbr and tiff files and it worked just fine with them. So, I'm going to request project on garage for evince and you're welcome to join it if you want to help. > > Thanks! > > > Albert > > > ----- Original Message ---- > From: Ed Bartosh <eduard.bartosh at nokia.com> > To: ext Albert Hosin <alberthosin at yahoo.com> > Cc: maemo-developers at maemo.org > Sent: Monday, January 7, 2008 6:41:44 AM > Subject: Re: Build Evince on Maemo > > On Fri, 2008-01-04 at 14:10 -0800, ext Albert Hosin wrote: > > Hi, > > > > I am trying to build latest Evince on Maemo.
