I cannot give you a right answer. But I'd like to show how we use
Nokia770/N800/N810 as control panel for open source home automation system
LinuxMCE. Have a look the Plutohome/LinuxMCE Orbiter project on Maemo garage
- http://pluto-nokia.garage.maemo.org/index.html. Maybe you'll be interested
to use it as well :)
