I seem to be cursed by my slowness, or perhaps I should say blessed.... as I was planning on doing the same thing, but am very new to my N810 and do not yet have the build environment complete due to lack of time. Are you planning on submitting the changes to get it "hildonified" upstream to the roadmap project as build options? (please please please). Can I help in any way? I should have a build environment up soon (next week or two) and can certainly test any incremental builds. I am not worried about beta code or anything. My N810 is so far into redpill territory that at some point, I will have to bite the bullet and reimage it.... :) Also, if you are not on the roadmap listserv, could you consider joining? I think it could be useful to start a discussion there on target environments - we have a LOT of diversity and lately have seen activity on Angstrom, wince (ouch!), it would be nice to keep some high-level view.
