Hello, In PC because the screen resolution is large, so the computation for compositing(such as transparent window) will very large. But in many many small devices the screen resolution is less than 320*240, so the computation should be about 1/50 of PC screen. Many embedded devices has no acceleration at all, but with a small resolution many devices is inherent can do it I think. But the engine should be small and high performance, both in code size which will resides in flash. So I think maybe desktop solution not adequate, such as beryl. I want to know if there is any project has been started for this? Thanks. Bin
