It's a replacement boot menu with several recovery options, I've got it running fine on my n810 with the latest flash(50-2)... It's a must have for anyone developing on their n800/n810. Right now I've got 3 OS installs on my n810- 1. The internal flash- I keep userspace programs here, but don't do any dev stuff. If I break the OS on the MMCs I can just boot from flash! 2. a 600 mb partition on the external mmc with debug versions of most libraries installed for testing. This is my main testbed for apps. I've broken it a few times, but fixing it is ridiculously easy. 3. Another 600 mb partition on the external MMC I'm trying to set up as a native development environment. (It's a work in progress.) This partition is not bootable, though ideally I'd like it to be. Right now I chroot into it. I basically cloned a fresh install, replaced busybox with bash, and installed all the development tools. I'm still working on installing all the -dev libraries. But the compiler works. With any luck, I'll soon be comiling apps natively on the n810... Anyway, booting from mmc really is a life saver. Check it out. Charles Werbick
