Imagine that you leave the promotion as it is for Diablo, with a collection of additional quality recommendations, but not requirements. Then one day an alpha/beta Fremantle SDK is released and a next phase can be effectively started going one step further in terms of quality requirements. End users are enjoying their Diablo applications, developers and power user can start getting their hands dirty testing Fremantle fresh meat. With time, good exchange of opinions and learning. One day Fremantle becomes stable and users get even better quality apps in that lovely extras repository. At that stage no Maemo developer doubts that if you are serious about your project you need to get your stuff in that extras repo.
