I use ubuntu 7.10 with Chinook SDK to compile mono. I look into my installation and libselinux.so.1 is present on the normal distro but not in the scratchbox. I check my lt-glib-genmarshal library with ldd l-glib-genmarshal and not depends from libselinux. This is the output: /scratchbox/tools/lib/libsb.so.0 => /scratchbox/tools/lib/libsb.so.0 (0xb7f49000) libglib-2.0.so.0 => /home/maemosdk/mono/garmono/maemo/devkit/glib/work/main.d/glib-2.12.12/glib/.libs/libglib-2.0.so.0 (0xb7eb7000) libc.so.6 => /scratchbox/host_shared/lib/libc.so.6 (0xb7d83000) libdl.so.2 => /scratchbox/host_shared/lib/libdl.so.2 (0xb7d80000) libsb_env.so.0 => /scratchbox/tools/lib/libsb_env.so.0 (0xb7d7e000) /scratchbox/host_shared/lib/ld.so => /scratchbox/host_shared/lib/ld.so (0xb7f53000) [ For further help I need information about your distro and SDK that you use. Regards, Torello
