Probably he's talking about Claws mail, but I am not sure about this.

What I wanted to say is that I find useless, for Modest, to deal with
such large databases
of e-mail.
The Tablet is not a substitute for your desktop.
Rather is a companion. On the sofa or on a trip.
The 10.001th e-mail is probably such an old e-mail you won't need to
be there right when you need it.

If Modest would do, on a tablet, all the things that Thunderbird or
Apple Mail should do on a regular desktop, I would have filed an
enhanchement request for it name, from Modest to Superb.
