I noticied the same problem while writing 0xFFFF. It just ignores the arguments passed to it. Passing the hardcoded ones in the kernel. I'm not sure if this is a kernel or nolo issue. There's a modified initfs with usb-ethernet to telnet and work without rootfs. No idea where :) On Wed, 12 Mar 2008 10:46:21 -0700 (PDT) Andrew Daviel <advax at triumf.ca> wrote: > > Yesterday I managed to lock myself out of my N810, from user space, by > adding a couple of lines to /home/user/.profile: > > if [ -x /usr/bin/xmodmap -a -s /etc/X11/Xmodmap ] ; then > /usr/bin/xmodmap /etc/X11/Xmodmap > fi > > I still don't understand what's wrong with that, or even if there is > something wrong, why it should lock the system.
