The closest thing might be the gconf system (using C, also available
via Python) which is a generic registry storage system.

It is NOT secure.

However you can create entries like /apps/maemo/myapp/LicenseType and
associate a string, integer, or other types including lists, and do
the same for price and expiry.

You would need to do the cryptographic sections yourself to insure the
data isn't tampered  with.
