Presumably if Nokia will provide PIM they'll just ignore GPE, so no harm 
in suggesting it.  My impression of most of these official apps though 
is that we don't get source and so don't get to extend or modify them.

Frankly I'd like to use something easier to work with than GTK/C, but 
the thought of starting over from scratch is daunting.  pimlico is the 
same so I don't see an advantage of starting there.

On that note, has anyone tried the Enveria IDE?
