Note that there already are thousands of apps available through apt-get and they are free. Maemo is based on debian which is a Free Software GNU / Linux distribution, so many of the libraries use LGPL or the GPL. This may have a bearing on your apps, so it often pays to understand the licenses before you start distributing your software. Jeremiah
