No, you if you are distributing binaries, you need to provide the sources. It doesn't matter where you go them from. This issue came up (on my radar at least), when a number of smallish distros that were just re-rolling Fedora or Debian or whatever had to provide sources. Previously they were just saying "get it upstream", but that is not allowed by the GPL. In sum, the binary distributor must distribute sources in all cases. -Jeff
