I'm not proposing a different naming scheme: the one you osmgpsmap uses 
is fine, what I don't like is the base dir used by ecoach: IIRC, it's 
storing the tiles under /home/user and not on the 32GB flash (which is 
/home/user/MyDocs/). Then, the tiles need to be under a directory whose 
name starts with a dot, so that tracker won't index them.

I changed that: this way the code is much cleaner, it's at least as fast 
and we can share the tiles with other apps.

This is my goal, but please move them in the 32GB storage. :-)
