Ideally you shouldn't use the GStreamer elements directly, but use
playbin2, or the midas framework.

In any case, for Fremantle most of the codecs will be used trough
gst-openmax, and the rest of the elements would be the open source
GStreamer ones, with some mux/demux proprietary exceptions.
