[maemo-developers] Probable GSOC idea

Hi
I am interested in participating for GSOC 2009 through a maemo project. What
I had in my mind was to create a python for maemo based, youtube plugin for
canola. But on the canola site future plans, there is a feature to add an
youtube plugin. So would it be unnecessary to have the above mentioned
project or would you be interested in mentoring such an idea?
