Hi, It seems that qwerty12(Tar & feathers will come later :) killed the server by submitting a package which does a massive amount of parallel build threads. I'm trying to see if I can get it killed off and get behavior back to normal. Normally your build should not wait that long, unless there is something big building in front of it. You can see the queues here: https://garage.maemo.org/extras-assistant/index.php UNKNOWN status usually means that something unkown has happened to the build. We need to find out what exactly happened to trigger that. -- Niels Breet maemo.org webmaster On Mon, March 30, 2009 15:34, Anderson Lizardo wrote: > Hi, > > > I sent two packages to the extras-devel for building approx. two hours > ago and, unlike the ones I sent on friday, these ones seem to be taking a > lot of time to begin building (at least I haven't received build start > notification e-mail yet). > > Are there any problems with the fremantle autobuilder? > > > When a package build status is UNKNOWN, does it mean that the build is > taking too long (meaning that it might be in a infinite loop somehow)? > > A quick look on the builder directory > (https://garage.maemo.org/builder/*/), I suspect the following package > might be blocking the builder1 machine (or maybe just taking a long time to > build): > > > https://garage.maemo.org/builder/chinook/mcalendar_0.5.6-1/ > > > Is there any time limit for killing builds, considering that they > might never finish? > > Thanks, > -- > Anderson Lizardo > Instituto Nokia de Tecnologia (INdT) > Manaus - Brazil
