In addition to all the other comments, *I* see one of the primary
roles of the debmaster proactively jumping in on tmo and maemo-*
threads where people have packaging questions with answers, but also
concrete and specific assistance (i.e. above and beyond "help").

This is something that a vibrant community sort of does itself, as in
this thread:

...where qwerty12 starts the critique with concrete suggestions. But
then people have day jobs and help ebbs away. However, the day job of
the debmaster should be to pick up this slack, and lead the charge.
Then, other people will learn from the master, and help others in
future.

And then, when I put my user hat on, I'll be a happy man when I browse
Extras :-)
