As Claudio said you can use the keyboard for copy&paste (kill&yank) operations. Regarding Modest, take into account that we're trying to reduce as much as possible the need of copy&paste. In order to do that, we try to identify as much as possible the relevant information for the user by "hyperlinkifying" things like email addreses, phone numbers, sip addresses. Clicking on those links could trigger external applications like contacts applications, web browsers, IM applications, SIP/VoIP applications or whatever is installed in the system. And if the information comes in the form of an attached file, then there is no problem as you could archive it using Modest. Br
