On working tablet mount rootfs again to some other directory (to get rid of other filesystems mounted on top of it) and create rootfs image of it. Than the linux flasher (flasher-3.5 for Fremantle) should hopefully flash it. Or at least that was it with previous devices that use jffs2 filesystem.
