Hey, I understand the motivation, but suffer from startup speed problems myself, and am getting that space hack-itch all over again (not present at the time of the BOF as I did not have my stuff ported to the N900 at the time :) I know pylauncher (as was asked/suggested by David Greaves) could ease this, but then we are again in hack-of-a-hack territory.
