Yes, libaudiofile is legacy and should not be in the final SDK or device.

It is actually a bug in the beta 2 SDK that the library is there.
As you need libaudiofile, then you need to build and provide it with gpe-calendar. Or figure out a workaround.

Yes, as it is a dependency, it's needed in extras-devel.
