With maemo5.0alpha instead of fremantle it's starting fine :) Thanks! Two proposals for improving documentation at http://maemo-beagle.garage.maemo.org/alpha.html then: - Extend 'Note: You will need to modify the sources.list file to include the closed binary repository. Editing sources.list, make sure you only add <yourtagishere> and don't copy and paste the *complete* link. That is, make sure to use maemo5.0alpha/<yourtagishere> instead of fremantle<yourtagishere> given by the link'' - If you do 'Follow the SDK install instructions from here http://maemo.org/development/sdks/maemo5_alpha_installation/' at http://maemo.org/development/sdks/maemo5_alpha_installation/ there is "1. Download the scratchbox installer script." and "1. Download the SDK installer script". But there are no links (?) where to download them from. I had to search a little until I found http://repository.maemo.org/unstable/5.0alpha/ after a while. Maybe we should mention that somewhere? Regarding "stop using this alpha port and somehow join forces to get the beta2": Yes, this sounds really great! Most probably I could help with some testing and documentation review ;) Until this ramps up, I will try to go on with alpha to learn tooling and doing (being aware that the result is 'alpha' stage).
