I personally think we're taking a wrong approach to the problem. I am not developing for Apple because of their approval process and their desire of control. It's not desire for control here, only for quality. Please remember that this thing still runs on battery. In the end it will be Nokia brand to get damaged if some app is available to the user for download and it literally sucks the battery dry without warning. And, from user perspective, you do want to have someone to certify that your device will not be killed by the app. cheers, igor
