Companies do not want a single vendor, architecture, programming language, etc. They want a healthy, diverse ecosystem. So ARM naturally has to be a part of it. Those who try to lock you into their own platform (Apple, Google, Windows) won't be able to compete with thousands of developers, both paid and unpaid.
