You have to see not only the current state but also the goal. Only Debian will be ready for multiarch is a foreseeable future. Others distributions have just missed the point that all the current way to build embedded system will be obsolet soon. In the near future, there will be no difference between your PC and you phone from the distribution point of view. So a SDK for embedded system will be pointless. Even the word "embedded" will be dropped.
