That's quite impossible to answer, unless you tell how you try to retrieve them. SIM-card contacts are in a separate storage (more concretely in different kind of EBooks that you can load frm sim://TYPE uri). If you get sim-contacts, while loading the system-addressbook, then (I guess) that means that the user has imported them into the system-addressbook, at which point they are no longer distinguishable from other system-addressbook contacts.
