Hi,

If this is just because you don't want to install many development
environments on multiple computers, maybe installing MADDE on a server
somewhere is the way you would like to go ?
MADDE installation is really not intrusive (only one directory like a
regular cross-toolchain and its binaries 'required' to be in the PATH
are all prefixed with "mad-") and entirely CLI based.

BTW, I am not sure what exactly do you want to develop but typing
shell/C code on the N900 may quickly become painful especially if you
have a QWERTY keyboard :)
