It's probably not a good idea but you can work around the issue like the Qt smart installer does - omit any non-base firmware dependencies, and use a loader. That way the install will succeed, and then via the loader you can apt-get/application-manager install whatever you need on the first run of the application. It's a horrible hack (and probably breaks a dozen Ovi rules and common sense along the way), but it might work. Regards, Attila
