Dear lists, I have an eager prospectus GSoC student, who happened to take same interest as mine in developing a sophisticated answering mechanism for the smartphones. At first we are targetting this at the N900 devices or the futuristic MeeGo devices, but I'm sure if parts of the rtcomm are open it could be migrated to Symbian as well, given the parts are similar in design at least. How can we go about this? Or else, what would be the way to develop an application as he described without open sourcing the rtcomm parts? Sukhbir, can you please follow up on this thread with a description or a link to a specification or a write-up of the idea?
